Hello.

My name is Bims Ayorinde, and I am a 22-year-old artist based in the UK. My artwork tends to focus on black experiences throughout the diaspora, activism movements that I feel strongly for, and showcasing the femininity of black women.

I created @wipbee in 2015 when I was only 14 years old, with it initially being a hobby where I would draw digital illustrations of celebrities and influencers that I enjoyed at the time. As I began to grow up, my artwork did too and I started to hone in on what I felt was truly important, with the Black Lives Matter movement being a paticularly significant time for me. By using my voice to write articles on important topics, I was able to combine both artwork and activism on my platform.

Now many years later, I have since studied architecture at university graduating with First-Class Honors, with this allowing me to widen my creative vision to building design alongside those mentioned above.

As a young black artist and activist within the industry, I've had the honour of collaborating with a variety of clients and companies to bring their visions to life.

If you're interested in working together or would like to see more of my work, please feel free to reach out.
